High protein cheddar alternative 

In 2023, Planteneers celebrated “breaking the protein enrichment barrier” in cheese with a system for a plant-based alternative to cheddar with a protein content of 7%. By comparison, conventional sliced cheese alternatives tend to have no more than 1% protein. Moreover, this cheddar alternative boasts a creamy consistency – a breakthrough in cheese alternatives which are often very hard. The product can also be declared as clean label.
