Thanks to Roko’s geographical proximity to the raw material Gelidium, they are able to select the best algae and use them in the freshest condition and optimal state of ripeness.
Their extensive warehousing facilities, where a large stock of seaweed is permanently stored, allows for constant supply even in years when seaweed is scarce due to poor harvest.
As well as an advanced laboratory, Roko operates a pilot plant, where new types of Agar are developed and tested and also a Microbiology section where the bacterial growth and behaviour of their Agar is monitored.
To stay ahead of market trends, Roko reinvests a substantial part of their resources each year. In this way, they can continue to develop new applications and product types. Their many years of experience in the sector provides a great source of technical advice and, in collaboration with the team at Andina Ingham, we work with our customers on tailor-made solutions.
