Canned & Frozen Blackcurrants

We source our blackcurrants from our trusted Polish supplier, who we have worked closely with for many years. They are fully accredited, with a strong emphasis on staff training and state-of-the art production facilities.

Our frozen blackcurrants are picked at the height of the season, at optimum ripeness and then individually quick frozen to secure their flavour.

Blackcurrants are considered by many to be the most intensely flavoured and coloured of the currants. They bring an appealing tartness and vibrant colour to all applications.

They are also an excellent source of vitamin C, fibre and antioxidants.

Available in both canned and frozen/IQF format, they are ideally suited to a wide range of food applications including bakery and desserts, jams and chutneys, smoothies,ice cream…
