Guar Gum is the milled endosperm of the seeds of the of the guar plant (Cyamopsis tetragonolobus Leguminosae) which grows in the desert-like areas of India and Pakistan. It is a galactomannan polysaccharide, is soluble in cold and hot water and is a highly effective thickener.
