Liquorice extract is obtained from wild growing liquorice roots found in Central Asia, China and Mediterranean countries. Depending on the origin of the raw material and the delivery form, the extract provides a versatile range of flavours: mild to sweet-aromatic to caramel, spicy to bittersweet and spicy.

Working with our partner we are committed to sustainable processing, ensuring that harvesting is done in a completely sustainable manner by always leaving part of the liquorice root intact. After 3-4 years, the root has regenerated and grown back completely.
